Kat Bio PicKatrina K Guarascio is a writer and teacher living in New Mexico. As an active member of the writing community, she has worked as an editor for various literary magazines and small presses, along with hosting poetry workshops and producing various poetry performances.

As an educator, her focus resides in bringing literacy into the classroom and making it accessible to students through a modern cannon of literature and writing exercises.

Along with many small press and e-zine publications, she is the author of two chapbooks of poetry, Hazy Expressions and More Fire than Sun, and three book length publications of poetry previously released through Swimming with Elephants Publications entitled September, my verse, and The Fall of Sparrow.

  1. Hola. I enjoyed your story in Manzano Mountain Review. Your dialogue in Spanish challenged my limited abilities but the challenge was good. I have two poems in the same issue. Someday I would like to learn how to curtsey. Thank you for your writing.
